Reagan-Fascell Fellows Scholarship

With the hope of providing quality education for good students, The National Endowment for Democracy is in search of scholars to participate in its Reagan-Fascell Fellows Scholarship Awards. The Full scholarship programme is open to all students to apply for the session 2021/2022.

Description of the Reagan-Fascell Fellows Scholarship Awards 2021/2022

The Reagan-Fasccell Democracy Fellows Program is a federally funded international exchange program that provides democracy activists, journalists, civil society leaders, and scholars from around the world the opportunity to spend five months in residence at the National Endowment for Democracy. It is named after NED’s principal founders, former President Ronald Reagan and late congressman Dante Fascell (D-Fla.).

Fellows reflect on their experiences, interact with others, perform research and writing, think about best practices and lessons learned, and build professional contacts within a worldwide network of democracy advocates while in residence. Fellows are required to submit a written product related to their research project. The fellowship concludes with a formal presentation in which fellows discuss their research subject or another topic related to their country’s democracy.

Activities of the Fellows
