Orange Knowledge and MENA Scholarship Programme 2023
This scholarship program is designed to help student who wish to gain a skill. The MENA Scholarship Programme and the Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) seeks to add to the societal development of the participating countries in the Middle East and North Africa, with the primary aim of contributing to society’s sustainable and inclusive development by strengthening the skills and knowledge of both individuals, groups of individuals and organizations. The scholarship also has the Sharika Training Programme (STP) aimed at supporting societal development in the MENA region.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for the MENA Scholarship Programme
- Applicants must be a professional working in one of the eligible countries: Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman and Tunisia.
- Applicants must be a 45 years old or younger on the application deadline, plus two weeks;
- Applicants are not employed by an organization that has its own means of staff development. E.g., international development organizations or private companies.
- Applicants must have a minimum of two years of work experience; You speak and understand the English language well (all programmes are in English);
- Must have written support from your employer to participate in the programme and to implement the Back Home Action Plan.
- Is working in one of the priority areas matching the thematic approach of the MENA Scholarship Programme in our country.
Eligibility for An Orange Knowledge Scholarship
- Applicants are a national of, and working in one of the eligible countries: Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Vietnam and Yemen.
- You are not employed by an organisation that has its own means of staff development. E.g. international development organisations or private companies;
- Applicants must have a minimum of two years of work experience;
- Applicants must be able to speak and understand the English language well (all programmes are in English);
- Must have written support from your employer to participate in the programme and to implement the Back Home Action Plan.
- You are working in one of the priority areas matching the country focus in your country.
Eligibility for the Shirika Training Programme
- Applicants must have a national of, and working in one of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestinian Territories and Tunisia.
- Applicants are a civil servant.
- Applicants must have between five and ten years of relevant work experience.
