2. The MSU MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program
The MasterCard Foundation Scholars program at Michigan State University for Masters students is open to students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree at an African university and are residents or citizens of an African country.
The Scholarship program seeks to provide extensive support for the completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree. The four cover-travel costs, Visa and SEVIS fees, Tuition and other MSU fees, Housing, food, and living expenses, Health insurance. Program Scholars are also provided with a laptop and a backpack.

3. The UC MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program
The University of California is pleased to offer its MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program which is aimed at providing comprehensive financial, social, and academic support up to 118 students. The application is open to both undergraduate and masters students.
MasterCard Foundation Scholars receive a comprehensive scholarship comparable to the costs associated with earning a Bachelors’s or Master’s degree, which includes travel, tuition, Berkeley student fees, visa and SEVIS fees, housing, food, living expenses, and cohort signature programs which will focus on leadership topics.

The Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) at Georgetown University started offering a full-tuition scholarship for a high performing and motivated graduate student from sub-Saharan Africa.
MSFS is a two-year, full-time graduate degree program in international affairs. Students will take courses in international relations, international trade, international finance, statistics and analytical tools, and history.

6. UNCF-MERCK Science Research Scholarship and Fellowship Program
UNCR-MERCK Undergraduate Science Research Scholarship Awards were designed to assist those talented African American undergraduate students interested in science to further their education and pursue science careers.
These scholarship scheme will provide tuition support and opportunities for research experience in state-of-the-art research facilities. Each annual award is worth up to $35,000, which includes up to $25,000 towards tuition, books, fees, and room and boards.
Every UNCF-Merck Undergraduate Fellow will be mentored by a Merck scientist and will receive two Summer Research Internships with minimum allowance of up to $10,000. One Internship will hold during the summer following the junior year and the other in the summer after graduation.
The scheduled internships will take place at a Merck research facility in Rahway, NJ, West Point, PA, or San Diego, CA.

7. Ron Brown Scholar Program
The Ron Brown Scholar Program is developed to spot talented African-American high school seniors who will make great contributions to society. Applicants must excel academically, demonstrate exceptional leadership potential, partake in community service activities, and exhibit financial need. 8. Gates Millennium Scholars Program
The Gates Millennium Scholars program is exclusively funded by Bills and Melinda Gates, the program commenced in the year 1999 designed to provide outstanding African American and other minority students with the financial opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education.
The scholarship program will support the education of outstanding students who intends to study in areas like mathematics, science, engineering, education, or library science.
