James Angelo Memorial Scholarship

In memory of an evacuees from South Sudan who was heartbreakingly executed in the line of obligation as a security official at Mercy Hospital, the James Angelo Memorial Scholarship is granted every year for $5,000 by the Maine-African Partnership for Social Justice to African outsiders moving on from Portland High School. For thought, qualified understudies of African drop must enlist full-time in an authorized post-optional foundation with a noteworthy in criminal equity to roll out positive social improvements inside Maine’s African people group.

John Haines African Student Scholarship
Deadline: January 15th
To pay tribute to a practiced Eugene ophthalmologist initially from Gabon, the Office of International Affairs at the University of Oregon offers the John Haines African Student Scholarship for up to $5,000 every year to full-time understudies from the landmass of Africa who are enlisted full-time in an undergrad or advanced education program. Candidates must have a F-1 or J-1 visa with non-outsider status, have a base GPA of 3.0, exhibit money related needs, and submit in any event one suggestion from a UO employee.
