The University Grant Commission is part of the Ministry of Human Resource and Rural Development. The Full Scholarship is open to all students to apply for the academic session 2022/2023.

1. UGC “ISHAN UDAY” Special Scholarship Scheme
The UGC “ISHAN UDAY” Special Scholarship Scheme is one of the UGC Scholarships that was established by the joint effort of both MHRD and the University Grants Commission. Also, it majorly focuses on the North Eastern Region (NE region).
In addition it seeks to increase the general literacy rates in the NE region. And also aims to improve the level of education offered in the NE region. Additionally, there are many eligibility requirements.
For example, to qualify, you must be a Domiciled Student of NER (NE Region). And the total income of your parents/guardian should not exceed Rs. 4.5 Lakh per Year.

2. Post Graduate Scholarship for Single Girl Child
The Post Graduate Scholarship for Single Girl Child is exclusively open to female candidates and it objective is to increase the status of women in India. However, to apply for this scholarship, note. You need to be admitted in the first year of postgraduate courses.
Also, you must be the only girl child in the family. Again, you must be a girl student without having any brothers. Also, you must be less than 30 years old during the time of application.
- Scholarship Details:The scholarship benefit is Rs. 36,200. And this is per year for Two Full Years.

3. Post Graduate Scholarship for University Rank Holders
Also, this is one of the UGC scholarships. And it is to provide incentives for students to go into graduate school. Also, it is to provide financial assistance to talented students.
However, to be eligible, you must be enrolled in a first post-graduate degree program.
Also, you must be less than 30 years old during the time of application. Furthermore, you must be a first or second rank holder (not a position holder). And you must have graduated from undergraduate institutions.

4. Post Graduate Scholarship for Professional Courses (SC/ST)
The Post Graduate Scholarship for Professional Courses (SC/ST) is also one of UGC Scholarships. And is exclusively open for SC/ST student to apply for.
The Value of this Scholarship is Rs.7800 per Month. And it is for only Post Graduate Course work.

5. Emeritus Fellowship
The Emeritus Fellowship aims to provide an opportunity for highly qualified, experienced, and superannuated teachers. However, these teachers must have been actively engaged in research & teaching programs.
Also, with the help of this fellowship, teachers will be able to undertake research. And this is without any restriction of position or pay scales.
However, the eligibility will be based on the quality of research and published work contributed by the teacher in his/her service career.
Also, transgender candidates are eligible to apply. This scholarship offers an honorarium of 31,000/- pm. And this is for two years (non-extendable)
Also, it gives a contingency grant (non-lapsable) of INR 50,000/- per annum.
6. Dr. S. Radharkrishnan Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Humanities and Social Sciences
Also, this is one of the UGC scholarships. And it aims to provide an opportunity to carry out advanced studies and research in Humanities and Social Sciences. This includes languages in Indian Universities/Colleges/ Institutions.
Therefore, to be qualified, you must be unemployed. Also, you must not be more than 35 years. Additionally, transgender candidates are eligible to apply.
Also, for fellowship, it offers INR 38,800 – 1st year | INR 40,300 – 2nd year | INR 41,900 – 3rd year.
For contingency, A offers INR 50,000 p.a. for three years. Also, for Escorts/Reader assistance, it offers INR 2000/- p.m. (fixed) in case of physically disabled candidates.

7. Post-Doctoral Fellowship to Women Candidates
Lastly, this is also one of the UGC scholarships open to women. However, they are to be unemployed candidates. Also, they must be holding a Ph.D. degree in their respective subject areas.
Additionally, the candidate should be 55 years of age. Furthermore, transgender candidates are eligible to apply under the scheme.
Also, for fellowship, the scholarship offers INR 38,800 for 1st year. And it offers INR 46,500. This is after 2 years.
Also, Contingency A, it offers INR 50,000 p.a. for three years. And for Escorts/Reader assistance, it offers INR 2000/- p.m. (fixed) in case of physically disabled candidates.
