The University of Oxford and University of Cambridge are happy to offer the Jardine Scholarship Grants for talented students who will enroll in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programmes at any of the universities for the academic session 2021/2022.
The aim of this scholarship scheme is to provide full funding for both home and international students who have a study abroad dream and is willing to take a leap of faith.
About Jardine Scholarship
Founded in 1982, The Jardine Foundation is an educational trust to mark the 150th anniversary of the Jardine Matheson Group.
Jardines was initially established as a trading company in China in 1832, and today is a diversified business group focused principally on Asia. The Group’s interests include companies that are leaders in the fields of engineering and construction, transport services, insurance broking, property investment and development, retailing, restaurants, luxury hotels, motor vehicles and related activities, financial services, heavy equipment, mining, and agribusiness.
The Jardine Foundation aims to assist young people who have the potential to become outstanding citizens with a high commitment to their communities. It awards Jardine scholarships per year to students at all levels, to enable them to attend educational establishments, primarily selected colleges at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

The Jardine Foundation Undergraduate Scheme is now accessible for applications for students who are applying to the selected Colleges at the University of Oxford and University of Cambridge for the academic session beginning in 2022.

Jardine Scholarship Applications
Applications for the Jardine Foundation Scholarships 2022 Awards will open in mid-Aug 2021. So hurry and apply for this opportunity, read carefully for the application deadline.
Application Deadline: October 22, 2021
Application Procedure
A personal statement describing the applicant’s objectives, aspirations, plans after graduation and details of extra-curricular activities, including sports, and their level of community involvement;
- A recent passport-size photograph;
- A copy of the completed UCAS application form; and
- Certified copies of GCSE, A/AS Level and IB transcripts or of alternative qualifications subject to the examination system of the relevant country or territory as and when available. These include, but are not limited to, HKDSE certificates, SPM or STPM certificates, and SKHU certificates.
- A testimonial signed by the school principal setting out:
The applicant’s achieved and/or predicted academic results; Remarks which will assist the Scholarship Committee in its assessment; and any other relevant information for the application.
If they submitted the testimonial directly from the secondary school, we will send an email to the principal/referee requesting a reference letter and information on pending qualifications or predicted grades. They require applicants to provide the name and contact details of their principal/referee on the application form.
Eligibility Requirements
- Admissible Requirements: Applicants must have attained an academic standard to qualify for entry to any of such Colleges
- Test Requirements: No
- English Requirements: Candidates must prove that they have a good level of written and spoken English.
Jardine Scholarship Interview
However, while they will base the preliminary assessment of each application on the information submitted by applicants, shortlisted candidates will be invited to the next stage of our interview process–an automated video interview, and sometimes a personal interview in November.
The final selection will require applicants to attend a personal interview in Hong Kong in January 2022. Also, applicants who have not been invited for an interview before that date should consider the application unsuccessful.
Applicants who cannot attend the final interview in Hong Kong will not be taken.
