Beit Trust Scholarships at University of Leeds – Eligibility
- For candidates who are citizens and are presently living in Malawi, Zambia or Zimbabwe who have applied to full-time Taught Master’s courses. Candidates must already possess a degree of equivalent standard to a good UK second class honors degree. Some work or professional experience is strongly suggested.
- By Act of Parliament, the Beit Trust supports ONLY scholars who are citizens of Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi, and who presently reside there. In addition, the Trust cannot consider submissions from persons who have already begun a course.
- All candidates (except medical and veterinary doctors) must be below 30 years of age on 31 December of the year of application. Some experience of work after completion of a first degree is strongly suggested. Doctors and vets must be below 35 years of age on 31 December of the application year. They should have accomplished 18 months of internship, and a one-year, preferably rural, posting in the pertinent country.
- The Trust does not consider candidates for MBAs.
