The Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR), a Canadian-based global organization, brings together more than 400 researchers from 16 countries that are trailing answers to some of the most difficult encounters facing the world. The CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars program gives backing and supports to aid young career researchers build networks and vital skills to put them as leaders and agents of change within academia and beyond.

Eligibility for CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program for International Researchers
- Candidates can be from wherever in the world, but must have a PhD (or equivalent) and be within five years of their first full-time academic position.
- Academics’ research interests must be affiliated with the themes of an qualified CIFAR research program.
- Be present to attend a two-day in-person interview* on March 22-24, 2021 in Toronto, Canada. Travel expenses will be covered by CIFAR.
